How to Install Android 15 [2 Methods]

In this video, we will show you two methods though which you could install the latest Android 15 onto your Pixel device. The methods discussed here are Android Flash Tool and Fastboot Script.

The supported Pixel devices are from the Pixel 6 series onwards all the way up to the latest Pixel 8 series [i.e. all Pixel devices with Tensor chipset].

Do note that I am flashing the Developer Preview [DP] build, but the steps will be same across all the versions of Android 15.

Moreover, as of now in the Developer Preview stage, you cannot install Android 15 via OTA. Once the update reaches the Beta stage, you could get yourself enrolled as a beta tester and then you’ll get the update via OTA.

The major benefit of receiving Android 15 as an OTA is the fact that you wouldn’t have to unlock the bootloader [as opposed to Fastboot Script and Android Flash Tool, both of which requires an unlocked bootloader].

Moreover, since I have currently flashed a DP build, most of the features are yet to go live. They will be available in the subsequent DP, Beta, QPR releases or even as a Feature Drop [you could keep a track of all the features that are currently live and the ones that aren’t from my guide].
