To Make Gobi 65

Cauliflower - 2 Nos
Water
Salt
Besan / Gram Flour - 1/4 Cup
Corn Flour - 1/2 Cup
Rice Flour - 2 Tbsp ( Optional )
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 Tsp
Salt - 1/2 Tsp
Red Chilli Powder - 1 Tsp
Garam Masala - 1/2 Tsp
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 Tsp
Tomato Ketchup - 2 Tbsp
Chilli Sauce - 2 Tbsp
Soy Sauce - 1 Tsp
Kashmiri Red Chilli - 1 Tsp
Fried Curry Leaves
Fried Green Chillies

Method:

1. Cut the cauliflower into small florets and place them in a bowl.
2. Pour significant amount of water in a large pot and add salt to it. Let it boil.
3. Now drop the cauli-florets into the water. Blanch them for 4 minutes to remove the impurities.
4. Strain the water from florets and keep them aside.
5. To a bowl, add gram flour, corn flour, rice flour, turmeric powder, salt, red chili powder, garam masala powder and ginger garlic paste.
6. To this, gradually add water and mix well to get a nice flowy, smooth batter. Keep it aside.
7. Pour oil enough for deep frying in a kadai and heat it.
8. Now dip the cauli-florets in the batter fully and drop them in the oil.
9. Let them fry until they turn golden brown and keep them aside.
10. Next, add some oil to a pan and to it, add tomato ketchup, chilli sauce, soya sauce, red chili powder and give it all a quick mix.
11. Add the fried cauli-florets to the sauce, gently stir, toss and saute.
12. Lastly, add fried curry leaves and fried green chilies.
13. Toss again and serve the yummy Gobi 65 hot!
