Outsmarting Chat GPT 4 - can it do math?

Chat GPT 4 has been all over the internet this week, and I want to test out its reasoning capacity by giving it a range of maths problems to solve.

Some of these it does really well - quicker than a human. Others it fails in an inexplicable manner. To what extent can we be really sure these LLM are reasoning well?
