The PREAMP FS06 features seven
The PREAMP FS06 features seven classic preamp types with selectable clean and gain channels for each, and cab sims to suit. If you're running an external cab sim or IR loader, you can turn off the Preamp's own cab sims. For this video I'm running the sims as they sound great to me and are part of the great value that the Preamp offers. I may make another video with a third party IR if that's what people wish to see/hear as well. I don't mind saying that the many of the preamps offered in the FS06 are easily on par with those offered in pedals asking four or five times the price. If you're after a one stop amp/cab solution with presets to save your favourite amp/cab combos, the PREAMP FS06 might well be your answer. I like it.

*The signal path was as follows. Guitar to Input of Axe-FX III. No amp or cab sims were used in the Axe-FX III. Instead, I ran an FX Loop in and out of the Axe which enabled me to insert Tube Screamer and Phaser sims before the FS06 and delay and reverb sims after it. From there I went straight to Logic Pro X. So what you hear here would be almost identical to a simple pedalboard setup that featured the PREAMP as amp/cab sim generator with an overdrive and phaser in front of it and some time-based effects behind.
