G1 Retro Reviews - War Dawn

Yes, a little late, or very early depending how you think about it, but I am finally back with another G1 Retro Review! Today, we're not doing "Aerial Assault" because as was pointed out to me in the comments, it features the Combaticons before they were actually built. So instead, we're skipping that episode for now and doing what is easily my favourite episode of G1, "War Dawn". Probably the best episode of the original Transformers series! This episode has it all! Time travel, the origin of Optimus Prime, and the cute young Autobots Orion Pax, Ariel, and Dion, who will one day grow up to be Optimus Prime, Elita-1, and....well, whoever you want to believe Dion became. Ultra Magnus? Ironhide? Someone else? 😉
