Mix Dal Fry:

Ingredients:

- 1 cup mix dal (split red lentils, split green gram, and split black gram)
- 2 cups water
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, grated
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- Salt, to taste
- 2 tablespoons oil
- Fresh cilantro, for garnish

Instructions:

1. Rinse the dal and soak it in water for 30 minutes.
2. Drain and cook the dal in 2 cups of water until soft.
3. Heat oil in a pan and sauté the onion, garlic, and ginger until golden.
4. Add cumin seeds, coriander powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix well.
5. Add the cooked dal and stir fry for 2-3 minutes.
6. Garnish with cilantro and serve with Zeera Rice.

Zeera Rice:

Ingredients:

- 1 cup basmati rice
- 2 cups water

2. Drain and cook the rice in 2 cups of water with cumin seeds and salt until soft.
