BBC World Service from the
BBC World Service from the Limassol Cyprus relay station on 21470 kHz received in Germany on 28 May 2012 around 1615 UTC during an outdoor DXing session.
Receivers: Lextronix Etón E5 and Tecsun PL-380 , both with their built-in telescopic antenna
Both receivers were operated with the widest available filter bandwidth to obtain the best audio quality possible.
Although the signal is beamed towards Africa (i.e. away from my QTH), the signal on the 13 meter band propagated very well into Central Europe. The Limassol relay station is 2693 km away from my QTH.
