In this video, I will like to share different sowing methods or techniques of sesame crop.
Sesame seed can be sown by three different methods;
1) Broadcast method
2) Drill sowing
3) Ridge sowing or bed sowing method
All these methods are good. Broadcasting is usually adopted by growers having sandy to sandy loam soils.
Ridge sowing or bed sowing best for heavy soils where water is standing for some time.
Small seed drill or wheat seed drill can be used for drill sowing method of sesame crop.
