World Ongoing (Official Short Film) | What is the world? | LMU Directing & Acting Thesis Film

Arriving this American Independence Day.

Anthology film in the universe of Life Ongoing 🌱,
World Ongoing 🌎 🎬 is a story that opens up the series to a new form of cinematic exploration.

This project, close to my heart, is my final directing and acting thesis for B.A. in Film & TV Production from Loyola Marymount University @loyolamarymount School of Film and Television @sftv. One I was able to shoot to finish my studies, thanks to LMU scholarships, my GoFund Me supporters and the Norwegian Lanekassen.

“What is the World?” asks the young Child (voiced by the Little Prince of our production: David Alonso). His father (voiced by Joe Pavia @paviajoe1964), undertakes the challenge of providing the answer.

A question of innocence and curiosity, sparks the story of Kai.

As the father-son conversation unfolds, audiences will travel to see the world anew, from diverse angles, twists and fresh perspectives. A clash of physical and metaphysical realities, between the seen and unseen, an experience of World Ongoing.
