"Magic Carpet Grande" is one of the great Defever Trawler and is the very popular model 41. She is a perfect live aboard, being solid, reliable, and comfortable. These were built in the 1980s, first by Miracle Marine Corporation (MMC), and later by Bluewater Yachts, both of Taiwan. This vessel was built by Miracle Marine Corporation in 1981 for Defever.
Art Defever designs are admired for their traditional lines, sturdy construction, long-range, sea-keeping ability, and practical layouts that make them perfect for extended cruising.
She has two helms and a flybridge with seating for a crowd that makes for a comfortable harbor cruise or an extended trip to Puerto Vallarta or along the coast of the Baja.
The large comfortable main cabin and fully equipped galley makes a great liveaboard. The upper decks double your living space for entertaining or watching the dolphins play on the bow. The aft cabin has ample room to walk around the queen-size bed with ensuite head and shower. The V-berth has ample room for even your largest guests. There is an ensuite head and wet shower as well.
The single Ford Lehman diesel engine gives you the economy, reliability and long-term performance cruisers have counted on for both short and long cruises. To make tight maneuvering in and out of the slip with the single engine, a bow thruster has recently been installed. You will enjoy the economy of a single engine and the ease of a twin. The electronics and navigation equipment are all state of the art.
