Sublimation Transfer Printing with Jacquard's iDye Poly

iDye Poly by Jacquard Products is a disperse dye for polyesters. Disperse dyes sublimate. This video shows iDye Poly being used in sublimation transfer printing. In this process the dye is thickened and applied to paper. After it has dried, the paper is placed face down on polyester and heated with pressure. The dye on the paper sublimates into the polyester and permanently dyes it. This process only work with disperse dyes and is only permanent on polyesters.
