Cyclin dependent kinases and their inhibitors

The activate of Cyclin Dependent Kinases (CDK) are regulated during cell cycle. Both CDK2 and CDK6 are activated by cyclin binding. Here, the mechanism of inhibition by CksHs1, p21Kip, p19INK4d is shown. CksHs1 inhibits phosphorylation by CDK activation kinase. p21Kip inserts to the cleft for ATP binding. p19INK46 allosterically inhibits the cyclin binding.
