MANGO JELLY RECIPE/MANGO PUDDING -
MANGO JELLY RECIPE/MANGO PUDDING - is as easy as can be and there is no baking involved. You can use fresh mangoes, frozen mangoes or even canned mango pulp to make this recipe.
You'll need:
FOR MILK PUDDING
2 ripe mangoes
2 cups water
1 cup milk
1/3 cup sugar
1 tbsp. uncolored and unsweetened jelly powder
FOR MANGO JELLY
1 cup water
1/3 cup mango puree
1 tsp. sweetened yellow jelly powder
PROCEDURES:
1. Slice the mangoes into cubes.
2. Combine water, milk, sugar and agar powder.
3. Turn low to medium heat and stir constantly until it boils.
4. Once the mixture boils, turn off heat then transfer in a glass container.
5. Add mango cubes on top, then allow it to set and cool down.
6. For mango jelly, combine water, mango puree and jelly/agar powder.
7. Combine well before turning the heat on.
8. Let it boil then pour on top of milk pudding.
9. Let it cool for few minutes then refrigerate for about 1 hour before serving.
This recipe can easily be doubled or tripled depending on how many servings you would like to make. Mango jelly pudding will last up to 3-5 days in the fridge.
