We are also looking for cherry red opal and we find a yellow opal that is pretty cool. Tri-colored jasper is also located. Come spend the day with us in only 15 minutes of treasure hunting and collecting. this trip was lead by the OBMS club, known as the Orange Belt Mineralogical Society. This non profit club is home of rockhounds young and old the enjoy helping newbies learn how and were to find gemstones and minerals, also how to turn those rocks in to jewelry and other items by teaching lapidary.
