1. Start the machine:
a. Turn the key to the left, pre-heat position, and hold for 10-15 sec to warm glow plugs
b. Turn key to the right to start the engine (The engine will not start unless the Steering Control and the Hydraulic Attachment Control are in NEUTRAL)
c. Adjust throttle to desired power level / speed
2. Raise bucket off the ground before moving the machine
3. Steer the MT55 to your desired location
4. Operate the bucket with the black knob
5. When finished, lower bucket and place it flat on the ground, then turn off engine

Safety Requirements:
• Always carry your load low, close to the ground
• Never lift a load over a person: if for any reason you need to work under the raised bucket, use the Lift Arm Support Device (so that in the case of hydraulic malfunction you avoid risks of serious injury)
• When parking, lower the bucket to the ground and use the parking brake
• Avoid driving the MT55 horizontally along an incline (risking tip-over)
• In the case of a tip over, turn engine off immediately and call Bill’s Equipment & Supply at 719-471-9715 (Do not try to right the machine, as this may cause additional damage)

Attachments for the MT55 include:
• Auger Attachment (Comes with 9” or 12” Bit)
• 18” Bit for Auger Attachment (Additional rental item)
• Trencher Attachment (36” Dig Depth)
• Fork Attachment

Transcript: Hi, my name is Anthony, and I work for Bill's Equipment Supply. Today we're gonna give you a demonstration on proper operations of the MT 55. This is a demo training video, but it is your duty to read and understand the operation of the machine in your operator's manual located in the back compartment. It is recommended that you have proper gloves and eye protection to operate the MT 55. If you do not have those you are welcome to go to our sales division. Before we get into operating the MT 55 I'm gonna go over the basic controls of the machine. Your key to start the machine. The orange handle is your throttle control. This black lever here is your bucket control. This one here levers are your steering control. This one is if you have any attachments as far as an agro attachment or any other attachments that you can hook to the machine. This lever here is a parking brake. If you are parked on any sort of an incline you engage your parking brake, so the machine doesn't roll or flip over on you. I'm gonna show you how to do the startup of the machine. Especially on cold days you're gonna want to take your key you're gonna turn it to the left hold it there for about 10 to 15 seconds is your glow plugs. And then once you do that let go, turn your key over to the right, and start it up.

After you get the machine started, you want to throttle the MP 55 up to about half throttle. That'll give you first-time user a safe power for the machine and the speed of the arms of the bucket. Once you get it started up you're going to pull on your black lever, you're gonna raise the bucket up so it's off the ground. Now to move the MT 55 you're gonna press down here on the lever and press it forward. And here it's able to move it forward pull it back towards you puts it in reverse. And then to turn right and left; you just turn it left, turn it to the right. So, with your black handle to the right you pull it back towards you, will raise the bucket up. You push it away from you, will bring the bucket down, drop the arms down. To curl the bucket pull it in to the left, to dump is out to the right. And one important thing is when you have a load in your bucket is to always keep your load low. If for any reason you have to leave the bucket arm in the air. There is a bucket lock located here to the right. You'll just pull out your pin. Pull the pin out, and I'll show you how to properly in insert the lock. So, when you have your bucket arms all the way in the air, you'll take your lock slide it right into the slot...
