Have you all seen the STAMPtember stamp set from WPlus9? The stamp set, Humble and Kind, has beautiful tulips on it and I couldn't resist trying some watercoloring. So in today's video, i tried out different layers of glazing, or very transparent watercoloring. Also, there are limited quantities of this stamp set, so if you want it you'll need to grab it soon. Some of the exclusive STAMPtember stamps that were released earlier in the month are sold out. This one could sell out also.
I've seen some amazing floral watercolor painters online that use layers and layers of glazes to create a light effect and have been so intrigued! The tulip images from the Humble and Kind stamp set were perfect for trying out this different approach. While I don't think I did it perfectly, I am pleased with my first attempt! I used Mijello Mission Gold watercolors, Saunders Waterford watercolor paper, and a few Zen watercolor brushes from Royal & Langnickel.
