During this period, he leaves Quartier Latin to rejoin Zaiko Langa Langa for "Nous Y Sommes" album then leaves to rejoin Quartier Latin de Koffi Olomide. He leaves Koffi Olomide in 1999 and helps assist the group "Academia" whole broke away from Koffi Olomide after the Zenith concert 1998. When Academia broke up in 2005, Beniko continued his group "Makutano". In 2013, he joined the project "Black Bazar" 🇨🇩which has been going with success! Plaisir!
