The Kryptone has a core tone that is based on the first Vox Tonebender from the 60's but is designed by Deep Trip to overcome all the of the setbacks of early fuzz circuits.  Whether you are looking for psychedelic fuzztones or creamy blues, the Kryptone can deliver a huge variety thanks to its Bias, Fuzz and High and Low EQ controls. The Bias alone can have a dramatic effect on the attack and texture of the tone, taking you anywhere from dying battery splat to dynamic uncompressed drive. The Lows is a unique pre-gain control that allows you to match your guitar's pickups to the pedal and either tighten up the bass or dive into those wooly fuzz textures. Deep Trip is also committed to producing delivering consistent tone from gig to gig, hence the use of stable silicon transistors and audiophile components that resist unwanted noise and interference. You also won't have to worry about compatibility issues with wah pedals or having to stick your fuzz at the front of your chain. Not only are you free to put the Kryptone anywhere on your board, you can power it with a friendly 9V DC adaptor.
