*FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING BELOW, THE PROBLEM IS LIKELY DUE TO USING WINDOWS 11,  ESPECIALLY THOSE IN THE INSIDER PROGRAM. A FACTORY RESET USUALLY DOESN'T FIX THESE TYPES OF ERRORS, ONLY A REVERSION TO WINDOWS 10.*

*CHECK RIVATUNER/ANY OVERCLOCKING SOFTWARE LIKE MSI AFTERBURNER IF IT DOES NOT WORK! MORE DETAILS BELOW*

If you tried to fix it by restarting and reinstalling Roblox and it did not work, this solution could possibly help you. This solution is not for the Microsoft application version, however. The solution works for Windows 11 and 10.

1. Click the Windows button on the keyboard or click the search tool
2. Search for "Roblox"
3. Right Click on "Roblox Player" and select "Open File Location"
4. In the folder, you will see Roblox Player once more. right click on it again, then select "Open File Location"
5. You should now see in the folder three types of RobloxPlayers. You want to right click on the one named "RobloxPlayerLauncher" and launch it or double-click it to fix it.

If it doesn't work you should try opening task manager and ending all Roblox processes (CTRL + SHIFT  + ESC to open task manager. Try finding Roblox processes and right clicking and then pressing "End task"). Then try the steps above again. If it still doesn't work, then you should use control panel to go to add or remove a program and then uninstall Roblox. You can then try to install it again using the play button and launching the executable file now in the downloads folder. It will likely do nothing but that's okay. You will then need to follow the steps above again and see if that fixes it.

If it does not work, then you can manually download and execute RobloxPlayerLauncher from robloxplayerexe.net/download/ and clicking RobloxPlayerLauncher. This should give you a decent success rate. You should try launching it as an administrator afterwards

However, for the few it doesn't work for, please take note of the following:

If this somehow doesn't work, then there is very likely something else such as a thrid-party application conflicting with Roblox. This could be another game anticheat or an overclocking software. If this is the case, please disable the anticheat or the overclocking software. For example, Rivatuner should be disabled or any other overclocking software to allow Roblox to run. It could also possibly be Epic Games Launcher, so you could try to disable that in msconfig.

Additionally new Roblox updates push for a more intrusive anti-cheat that may not allow Roblox to run if it views anything as a possible component necessary for exploits. This is very likely related to the main problem since Roblox is likely conflicting with a third-party application if it does not work, in some cases those being FPS unlockers for example. I do believe that if Roblox does not crash immediately, as in it is able to run fine for a bit and then crash, you probably have a conflicting software. Another possible problem could be that you have an antivirus that views this new anticheat as an attack vector, to which you can add all of Roblox to an exclusions folder in your antivirus after checking your antivirus data-log or quarantine to confirm Roblox was a problem.

If all of this doesn't work, you can try to manually troubleshoot the problem. Go to event viewer and try to run Roblox, then go to the applications tab in Event Viewer (click on Windows Logs and then go to Application) to see what error code was given if Roblox did not launch. You can comment the result and I can try to interpret it. Do note I will not always be active, so research is also a good friend.

I do believe that for the people for which this tutorial does not help, their issue is likely due to registry/driver issues. In that case, event viewer should give you a good bit of information to diagnose the issue.

I haven't tried this at all, but I wonder if Bloxstrap could remediate the problem. I'm guessing probably not, but hopefully someone can try and report in the comments.
