Zeus presents Chase H.Q. (un-emulated)
Zeus presents Chase H.Q. (un-emulated) for the Amstrad CPC, a true classic from the golden era of Amstrad gaming which should not be forgotten alongside the software house and programmers that were involved in making this game.
Year of release: 1988
A very nice conversion of the arcade classic, animation is good and one of the faster games i've seen on the amstrad, colours are nice, sadly no in-game music or speech which the spectrum version has (only the Amstrad disk version contains speech) but for me this is a very nice conversion, second behind the spectrum 128k version imo, but my god way ahead of the disastrous C64 version which stank.
All the 8 & 16 bit versions from ocean of this game seem to have been built with the same program engine, they are all annoyingly frustrating at times with the tight time limits and hitting bloody corners the moment you finally catch up with the boss cars at the end of each level only to see them get away whilst your timer runs lower and lower,...Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
