We bought 15 wooded acres of eastern-Tennessee land, cleared our garden with a team of horses, built our home from salvaged materials, lived without electricity (no solar or generator either) or running water. And, we enjoyed nearly every moment of it! But what was our biggest mistake? If we could do it all over again what we have done differently? (Hint: Focus on the House First!)
