Susie and I doing a demo of deploying our ARB 2500mm aluminum awning and adding the ARB deluxe touring room on our Runaway Navigator camper. The walls all zip up and you can have total privacy. I forgot to film that. We did not add all of the stakes and ropes, but we will when really camping. And when it is not buggy, I can see us just deploying the awning only. It will be nice to have options. We will really have to think hard about possibly moving the awning closer to the camper by moving the brackets over the width of the awning housing or about 4 inches. That would cover the edge of the camper and totally block the rain. However, if we zip up and enclose the camper side of the awning room, the rain will not get in the room. We see it has a living room/kitchen separate room anyway because we do not go in and out of the camper much during the day anyway - it is our bedroom. It is a bit awkward unzipping the camper side wall to go in and out, but during buggy weather, we will keep it zipped up anyway. During non-buggy seasons, we could just keep the camper size unzipped as you see in this video. What I like best is that it is all easy to deploy, with the awning and the room and the awning is attached. We won't have to haul a canopy in the back of the truck anymore, unless we were staying at a campsite for a long time and wanted to setup an additional covered area. The awning room folds up well like a tent and goes in its own bag. If bad weather popped up, we could get this all down in a hurry if there were really high winds. Most of the time the stakes and ropes will secure this to the ground really well.
