~Oddly Contrived Description for Search Term Purposes~
In this video, I, Myles Yang, explain exactly how to harmonize a melody with a bread & butter mechanical voicing technique called "four-way close," using a legendary Queen ballad as an example. Through the magic of modern technology, I've synthesized three new Freddie Mercuries to sing alongside the original in colorful four-part harmony. Since A.I. (artificial intelligence) and computer generated songs, musicians, and artists are so on our minds lately, I feel I should clarify that this is not a Freddie Mercury deepfake. I simply created these voices for the harmony lines with traditional pitch-correction software (Auto-Tune). Of course AI could be used to similar effect, which is something I'll be experimenting with in the future. At any rate...the result is a modern, 2023 Bohemian Rhapsody remix as you've never heard it before!
