Edible Plants: Ginkgo

Ginkgo ("Ginkgo biloba") is an ancient tree that has edible & medicinal uses. The leaves have been used to help circulation & memory & its cooked nuts in snacks & desserts. Limit  consumption of these nuts & NEVER eat them raw. I recently read that you can open up the cooked nut and remove the stem- which contains the toxin that can cause problems.
