A complete Saab 340 Aircraft Add-on for both Microsoft Flight Simulator X and Lockheed Martin's Prepar3D package.
Compatible with all versions of FSX (including Steam Edtion) along with all versions of P3D including v4 and P3D v5 (latest).
This stunning add-on brings the Saab 340 to your flight simulator package in true-to-life detail. Featuring a complete 3D virtual cockpit along with an accurately detailed external 3D model.
The aircraft features full Flight 1 GTN 750 integration along with an updatable database for AIRAC and many more live updatable features.
The Saab 340 was designed in Sweeden by Saab Aerospace and is a twin-engine turboprop-powered aircraft. The passenger seating was ~30-36 passengers under different seating arrangements. As of 2018, around 240 of these aircraft operate around the world with ~34 different carriers using them.
This mod by Carenado features many different advanced sequences and procedures to make virtual flights more realistic. There is a cold/dark start option as you can expect in the real world when loading a plane.
The model features volumetric (side-view) prop effects along with landing rolling movement effects when touching down.
The proper has a special dynamic shine effect which is visible in both of the sims (FSX/P3D).
Included in the pack are custom sounds such as brakes on taxi and landings along with a complete custom sound pack.
The add-on features a complete autopilot system that is fully functional based on real-world aircraft systems.
All of the repaint/livery/paint schemes are HD and have a texture resolution of over (4096 x 4096).
All of the sounds are custom and include SF34 sound.
There is a customizable panel that includes features to control window transparency, instrument reflections along with other adjustments such as wheel chocks and sights props.
The entire flight model is accurate and realistic compared to the real-world aircraft (based on research and real pilot feedback). The weights and balance of the aircraft are accurate and true-to-life. All of this has been tested by real-world pilots of the actual aircraft.
Night lighting is an important feature and has been included in abundance with realistic effects on both the panel, entire cockpit, and of course exterior views.
The add-on is released as payware which means you need to purchase it in order to use it.
