In this video, I make a delicious banana yogurt smoothie. This is an amazingly tasty drink that is great a way to start your day.

If you love to work out and use protein powder to help with your daily diet, then you can add your powder to this recipe easily. I find about one tablespoon should be more than enough for a single batch of this recipe.

The ingredients that you will need for this banana yogurt smoothie recipe are listed below.

2 bananas
1 cup milk
½ cup plain yogurt
1 Tbsp honey
1 tsp vanilla essence

You’re able to remove the honey and vanilla if you want to have a completely plain banana smoothie. You can also swap the milk and yogurt out for low-fat varieties if that’s what you prefer.

Frozen bananas work great for getting your smoothie extra chilled. It is also a great way to thicken it up. Adding ice cubes is also another way to chill your smoothie down but, at the same time making it thicker.

As with most smoothies, this is best made fresh and consumed straight away. If you do end up with too much, then it will keep for about twenty-four hours in a fridge. After this, the banana will start to brown, and it won’t look very appealing to drink.
