万挠的马来文名为Rawang，意为「沼泽森林」，位置于雪蘭莪州, 是马来西亚雪兰莪州鹅唛县的一个城镇。万挠北临双文丹，南临士拉央，西临八丁燕带，距离吉隆坡市中心约24公里。因万挠河一带在还没发展锡矿业及橡胶业之前为烂泥地。现万挠市区分别为大街（现为印度街）与后街2条老街，到处都可看到各种族谋生景象，朴素又简单的街道。找个店铺，在靠门的位置坐下来喝口茶，还是可看到熙来攘往的车辆塞在前头大街的景象。
Rawang, meaning "swampy forest", is a town in Gombak District. It is located in the state of Selangor, Malaysia. It is bordered by Semantan to the north, Selayang to the south and Batang Berjuntai to the west. Before the development of tin mining and rubber industry, the area around Rawang River was a muddy land. There are two old streets in the downtown area, namely Main Street (now known as India Street) and Back Street, where you can see various ethnic groups making a living. Find a store, sit down and have a cup of tea near the door, you can still see the scene of the traffic jammed in the front street.
