The 2021 Honda Accord Hybrid gets 48 mpg on the highway according to the EPA, but that's only in base trim. When you choose the Touring trim, featured here with a new 19" wheel option, that figure drops all the way down to 41 mpg. And in our testing, we found that number is even lower in the real world. Granted, hybrids don't tend to do as well in the cold as in the warm, but to get 11 mpg lower than the top-trim Hyundai Sonata hybrid we tested last year is pretty sad. Especially because the Accord drives so nicely.
