The chant "Nam Myoho Renge
The chant "Nam Myoho Renge Kyo" is from the Nichiren Buddhist tradition. This rendition is what is known as "daimoku." Daimoku is the repetition of the mantra for a period of time. Daimoku can last from as short as a few minutes to as long as a few hours or more. It can take lifetimes for a full and complete understanding of the mantra to be realised. Roughly, however, it means:
Nam - Devotion to/I take refuge within
Myoho - The mystic law of cause and effect
Renge - Symbolised by the lotus flower, which simultaneously blooms and seeds.
Kyo - As expressed through the power of sound/vibration
The daimoku in this video is chanted by a practitioner known as Indiajiva.
Enjoy!
