Jake Tapper: Big Slick is a "Celebration Dedicated to Saving Some of the Most Precious Lives"

Our appreciation goes out to Jake Tapper for shining a light on pediatric cancer and the disparity in government funding that is spent on cancers affecting children when compared to other types of cancer. Above and beyond the media coverage, Jake took the time out of his schedule to travel to Kansas City once again to participate and support the cause...and even raise a little more money by coaxing Will Forte to swim in the hotel fountain. Paul Rudd, Jason Sudeikis, Rob Riggle, David Koechner, Eric Stonestreet and Heidi Gardner come together each year to raise money for pediatric cancer research at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City. Just this week, the 2024 Big Slick Celebrity Weekend raised $3.9M for Children's Mercy, bringing the total raised since the event's inception in 2010 to $25M
