Can we home brew a best bitter using new UK Hop varieties?  Growing hops in the UK is under threat of being extinct unless new and exciting varieties that are both commercial for the farmers and exciting for brewers can be found. During their visit they were privileged to see one new hop that is currently under trials, CF302. Further to this we then were able to get our hands on a very small amount of these hops as pellets and in this video we brew a bets bitter using them to see how they present in the glass and the outcome was surprising!
