In this video, I'll show you how to edit and upload TikTok's on a PC.
Upload your TikTok to VEED and if you filmed your video in one take and you have pauses at the beginning and end, you can trim the clip by dragging the ends in the timeline. If you have a recording that has multiple takes you can watch through the clip and when you find the section you want to use, place the playhead there and press S on your keyboard or press the Split button just above the timeline. Then at the end of the section, do the same. You can now delete the rest of the video by holding down Shift, selecting the clips you don’t need, and pressing the Backspace button on your keyboard. You can also now select the empty space in the timeline, delete it, and the clip will snap to the beginning of the timeline. If you have a long clip with multiple takes in it, click the Magic Cut button and save time editing with VEED's new AI powered video editing tool. And that’s the basics of how to edit a TikTok on a PC.
VEED has many other editing tools to enhance your TikToks and make them more engaging, such as adding subtitles so everyone can follow along with your videos. You can add subtitles using the automatic subtitle generator, customise the font and colours and even add animations and effects to them too.
To avoid any copyright strikes on your TikTok you can use VEED's built in Stock Audio library. Simply search for a keyword or look through the playlists to find and add music to your TikTok.
When you have finished editing together your TikTok, click the Done button in the top right corner and select Export Video. Wait for VEED to render your TikTok out, and once it has, you can click Download, and then Download as MP4. You can then upload the TikTok to the TikTok website from your PC and add a caption, thumbnail, music and choose when to publish it.
