Easy Japanese gyudon recipe in under 15 minutes and it tastes great! Ingredients: Thin Beef Slices - 750g Teriyaki Sauce - 200 ml Water - 100 ml Soy Sauce - 2 tbsp Sugar - 1 tsp Sake / Rice Wine - 25 ml (optional) Onion - 1 large (thin slices) Ginger - 3 slices Garlic - 4 cloves Note: Sake can be substituted with any rice wine. I used Chinese cooking rice wine in the video and it tasted just the same, if not better! The teriyaki sauce saved me from buying additional ingredients and it brought out the flavors that I was looking for. I did not use mirin or dashi. You can use any beef cuts you want as long as it’s thinly sliced. I kept it quick and simple by getting frozen beef slices at Asian grocery stores. These beef slices are usually for hot pots, but it was awesome for this dish. Save me heaps of time! Hope you enjoy :)
