Focusing on the challenging yet rewarding task of clearing the what was farmland, join us on a journey as we show the reality, obstacles, and triumphs faced by homesteaders while transforming raw, untamed land into a thriving homestead. At the moment, our work on our future homestead here in Ireland continues with a goal of having the fallen trees, brambles, overgrown blackcurrants and ivy all under control before Spring really starts to bud as the farmland clearing continues.
This area of farmland has been a work in progress and slowly, over the course of 6 months and on numerous videos we have shared, Dawn's hard work and labour of love really shows as what was once an inaccessible area, is now free from all that was there. Although with still some ground work to be done, this area of the land is the closest to become part of the homestead first.
