First-ever Live Fire of a Military GPS based Precision Guided Munition

This video shows the first-ever firing of a Military GPS based precision guided munition.  This Live Fire event was conducted at Yuma Proving Grounds on 27-29 March 2017.  A total of sixteen 81mm precision guided mortar rounds were fired - five ballistic trajectory and three guide-to-hit shots for each of two different Military GPS (i.e. M-Code GPS) receiver variants.  All rounds successfully acquired sufficient M-Code GPS signals from space and performed as expected.
