Unboxing Usher - Confessions (Special Edition)

Confessions is the 4th studio album by Usher released in 2004. It went on to sell over 20 million copies worldwide. It hit #1 on the Billboard 200 chart, where it charted for a total of 124 weeks. It contains the #1 hits "Yeah!," "Burn," "Confessions Part II," and "My Boo" as well as the top 10 hit "Caught Up." The album earned Usher 3 Grammy awards, and it was nominated for Album of the Year.  Primarily an R&B album, Confessions showcases Usher as a crooner and incorporates musical elements of hip hop and crunk. The album interprets R&B from a jazz standpoint, an old school throwback standpoint, a new school point, and a traditional classic standpoint. One of Usher's first steps of recording Confessions was deciding to reveal "his own little secrets.” The album's themes generated controversy about Usher's personal relationships. The lyrics on the album reflect his personal story of his life and relationships at the time.
