Hyperloop Hotel is the future
Hyperloop Hotel is the future of luxury accommodation, inspired by supersonic Hyperloop One. The concept was designed by Brandan Siebrecht, a graduate architecture student at the University of Nevada.
Hyperloop Hotel is a complex of compact transport rooms, fitted for luxury with a lounge complete with a flat-screen television, an office, a bedroom and a bathroom. These rooms will be moved through reduced-pressure tubes to their destinations in connecting Hyperloop Hotels in 13 different US cities, in a time quicker than any train, plane or car could ever dream of - and with more comfort and convenience.
Hyperloop One, the company that is working to commercialize the system, wants the transport to be energy-efficient, autonomous, and quicker than a plane.
The futuristic concept would eliminate the need to buy separate transit tickets for most of the largest cities in the US. It calls for hotels in 13 locations — Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Denver, Sante Fe, Austin, Chicago, Nashville, Washington, DC, New York City, and Boston
Despite the fact that the technology that Siebrecht proposes to use is still in its infancy, he believes the hotels could be up and running by 2020.
Siebrecht predicts that each hotel will cost $10 million each to build, and guests will pay a fee of $1200 to travel between cities all without leaving the comfort of their hotel rooms.
So say goodbye to unbearable car journeys and uncomfortable flights – and say hello to high-tech futuristic luxury.
