Abdominal ultrasound of teenager with abdominal pain in clinic.
In the mid-abdomen visualized atypical two vessels view - to the left of the aorta closely to it second vessel with venous doppler spectrum - LIVC.
A left IVC typically ends at the left renal vein, which crosses anterior to the aorta to form a normal right-sided prerenal IVC.
