Are you installing motorized blinds? This short video will show you how to install a 12-volt DC transformer to power a motorized window covering in just a few easy steps. These blinds offer privacy when you need it, and will add an elegant touch to any room. This installation is easy, and won't require any special training. All you will need is wire cutters, tape measure, and a blow dryer. You will need to begin by customizing the wire lead length to accomodate your prefference. You can determine how much of the wire length you will need by first measuring from the side of the window that the motor is on, to the nearest outlet. When the wires are in place, make sure to plug the transformer in and then test the shade before proceeding. When you have completed this task, position the wire protector sleeve over the red crimped connectors. Now you will need to use your blow dryer and heat the covering to insure that the connection of these wire are properly sealed. Now just insert the motor connector into the power port on the motor, and plug in the transformer into the wall outlet. You are now finished!
