A locomotiva diesel elétrica 1408
A locomotiva diesel elétrica 1408 veio a Carcavelos, trazendo a 3159 após ter ficado uns dias nas oficinas de Campolide a tornear rodados na motora.
A máquina veio atrasada para Carcavelos, devido ao pessoal de Campolide não terem conseguido pôr o engate especial na parte da frente da máquina onde está o motor, por isso chegou a Carcavelos às 11.34.
A máquina fez a entrega no parque de Carcavelos, e logo a seguir, a composição 3159 fez manobras até à entrada do parque e logo para à 1408.
O manobrador parou a 3159 perto da 1408, baixou o pantógrafo, para que a máquina possa acoplar com a composição, e fazer ensaios de freio.
Após ensaios de freio sucedidos, a máquina levou a 3159 para Campolide, onde fará o torno de fosso: tornear rodados na motora.

The electric diesel locomotive 1408 came to Carcavelos, bringing the 3159 after spending a few days in the Campolide workshops turning wheelsets on the engine.
The machine came late to Carcavelos, due to the people from Campolide not being able to put the special coupling on the front of the machine where the engine is, so it arrived in Carcavelos at 11.34.
The machine made the delivery to the Carcavelos park, and soon after, the 3159 composition made maneuvers until the entrance of the park and then stops at 1408.
The manoeuvre stopped at 3159 near 1408, lowered the pantograph, so that the machine could dock with the trainset, and do brake tests.
After successive brake tests, the machine took the 3159 to Campolide, where it will make the pit lathe: turning wheelsets on the engine.
