Puppy comes into shelter with parvo, staff stay with him overnight | NSPCA Shelter Medical

This little guy came into the shelter with what was later confirmed to be the highly contagious canine parvovirus. This vaccine preventable illness is especially dangerous to young dogs and requires a high level of care. Due to his young age and the nature of parvo, he had to be isolated from other dogs. This meant he couldn't go home with anyone. Staff stayed with him for two whole days (day and night) in an isolated area to make sure he was ok. See how much better he's doing now!
