How to Turn Dirt into Soil

I needed more garden space because I wanted to grow more corn this year. I also didn't want to keep planting my corn in the same spot.

I removed approximately 6 yards of sand and gravel in order to dig a new garden plot. The native soil "dirt" is in very poor condition.

Take a look at how I'm putting some life into the dirt so that it can become "soil."
