Sacramento Police Department proposed budget soars to more than $228 million | To The Point

The Sacramento City Council is considering passing a budget proposed by the Sacramento Police Department and, for another year, the department is asking for a significant bump.

The department is hoping to get approved for $228.2 million in this year's budget.

As the Vice Chair of the Sacramento Community Police Review Commission, Keyan Bliss is frustrated to see the department asking the city council to approve so much money.
