depends on your vehicle this may or may not be the same way but it's all the same principle installing a short ram intake on your car is not really the greatest for the engine performance itself a short ram intake is like the one in the video it sucks up hot air from the engine bay it could potentially ruin your car's engine after a long. Of time I would prefer going with a cold air intake by the expensive Wonder like three hundred bucks and they actually add horsepower
