This project took a very
This project took a very long time to render but I hope it paid off. It seems that people like my upscaled Tsar Bomba video so this time I decided to upscale one of my favorite cult classics from Uganda!
Details of the Project:
DaVinci Resolve has highly improved its frame rate conversion algorithms, so the footage should appear smoother than with the last upscaled project. I finely tuned upscaling and sharpening in the editor. The Rec.709 of the original was replaced by Rec.2020 and HLG HDR. Now those blown out skies will be very bright and the night scenes should be nice and dark. Film grain was added on top of everything else so that the denoising of the upscaler didn't appear overly plastic. Hopefully I didn't overdo it.
