Furniture retailer Steinhoff's first half earnings have jumped by a third on the back of the company's buyout of the European Conforama acquisition and a favourable exchange rate. Headline earnings per share were up 48% to 166.5 cents, while revenue also increased by 123% to thirty seven point six billion rand.
