An inside look at the 5.45x39 Bullet. The 5.45 is smaller than the Standard AK47 7.62x39 cartridge and has less Kinetic Energy than the 7.62x39 cartridge. But what it lacks in knock down power it more than makes up for with accuracy and a nasty surprise. This Cartridge in nicknamed the "Poison Bullet". It gets this name because if the force of the impact is not enough to kill you. The bullet is designed to tip over and tumble through the target. This increases the likely hood of hitting a vital organ or causing Sepsis from torn tissue through the wound track and greatly increases the chance of infection which will lead to death days alter.
To get the Bullet to "Sprawl" They designed a hollow cavity under the Jacket that makes the bullet bottom heavy. This makes the bullet unstable when it hits the target.
