Arriving in Germany yesterday evening for the 2024 European Football Championship (EURO 2024), Turkish National Football Team held its first training open to the fans in this country.
The training, which was held at the August Wenzel Stadium in Barsinghausen and sold out, attracted great interest from Turkish fans.
- Montella: "We hope that together we can do our best"
"I would like to welcome RAMS Global to our family and we hope that we can do the best together. We are very happy to be in Germany, our first task is to make our nation proud. We want to show this with our attitude, hard work and results. We had the opportunity to play here in the past and we were very happy. We witnessed their love. We are very happy to be here."
Montella answered a question about the injuries in the national team as follows: "There have been minor injuries since we started with a large squad. Then we had unlucky injuries like Ozan and Enes. These made us very sad. There are minor injuries, but I do not look at this situation with concern. We have a very good foundation."
Stating that they chose their friendly matches against tough opponents, the Italian coach said, "We wanted our friendly matches to be against opponents at a level that we can face in the very near future. We have a lot of young players in our squad, there are points where there is little experience, it was very important for us to close the experience gap with these matches. I think everything is going right so far, the only thing that bothers us are the injuries that we cannot prevent."
Cem Ciritci, Member of the Executive Board of RAMS Turkey, who made statements at the meeting, said, "On this path we set out with the vision of adding value to Turkish sports, we rolled up our sleeves to support Turkish football to achieve even greater success.
