The 180 Hyundai-made K2 Black
The 180 Hyundai-made K2 Black Panther tanks will start arriving in Poland in December 2022. Poland then plans to domestically produce the remaining 820 starting in 2025.
The purchase also includes 672 South Korean K9 self-propelled howitzers, 48 FA-50 light fighters and 288 Chunmoo K239 multiple rocket launchers. Warsaw is also considering purchasing Hanwha's AS-21 Redback infantry fighting vehicles. They will be used to replace the obsolete BWP-1.
