The school motto says Nurture, Inspire, Flourish, and the folks at Lakisha Academy are living up to it.
On this day, I visited Lakisha Academy off the Pipeline to Mzee Wanyama road at Imperial.
The headteacher took me around the school and we literally spent a day there to have feel of activities in this child-friendly school.
Lakisha Academy features ECDE and Primary school level up to grade 4 at the moment.
We saw the children taking classes including inside their nice library.
Madam director said Lakisha is all about quality education, which she thought to bring near the locals and cut long journeys to town in search of quality.
